Splatter Zone FAQ

What is Splatter Zone?

Splatter Zone is a UV splatter paint room where guests throw, splash, drip, and fling neon paint in a blacklight environment. It is a fun, messy, hands-on experience where you can create your own canvas and enjoy a glowing paint-filled room.

Is Splatter Zone an escape room?

No. Splatter Zone is not an escape room. It is a separate paint experience where guests get creative with neon paint under UV lights.

Do I need to be good at art?

Not at all. No art skills are needed. Splatter Zone is about having fun, making a mess, and creating something unique. Every canvas turns out different.

What should I wear?

We recommend wearing comfortable clothes and shoes that you do not mind possibly getting paint on. Protective gear is provided, but paint can still occasionally get on clothing, shoes, hair, or personal items.

Is protective gear provided?

Yes. Guests are provided protective gear before entering the Splatter Zone. This may include items such as coveralls, goggles, or other protective items depending on the package and setup.

Does the paint wash out?

The paint is a washable paint, but we cannot guarantee that it will wash out of all fabrics, shoes, or personal items. Please wear clothing and shoes you are comfortable getting messy.

Can we throw paint at each other?

Yes, Splatter Zone is designed to be playful and interactive. Guests may splatter paint around the room, on their canvas, and on each other as part of the experience. All guests should participate respectfully and follow staff instructions.

Do we get to take home a canvas?

Yes. Each session includes the opportunity to create your own splatter paint canvas. Your canvas may need time to dry before it can be taken home.

How long does the experience last?

Each experience takes a total of one hour from start to finish.

What is the difference between Glow Throw and Splatter Storm?

Glow Throw is the smaller package and includes: all protective gear, 5 UV paint colors, 2 paintbrushes, a 12 x 16 canvas, and a paint blaster full of paint.

Splatter Storm is the larger package and includes: all protective gear, 7 UV paint colors, 2 paintbrushes, a 16 x 20 canvas, a paint blaster full of paint, a paint gun full of paint, and a paint bomb.

Is Splatter Zone good for birthdays?

Yes. Splatter Zone is a great option for birthdays, celebrations, group outings, date nights, family fun, team events, and friend groups. Check out our splatter party package.

Is there an age limit?

Must be at least 5 years to participate in this experience. At least one adult must stay in the viewing area for all groups with participants 16 years of age and younger.

Can adults do this too?

Absolutely. Splatter Zone is not just for kids. It is great for adults, couples, friend groups, date nights, parties, and team-building events.

Will we get messy?

Yes. That is part of the fun. Protective gear helps, but guests should expect a messy, colorful experience.

Can I bring my phone inside?

Phones may be allowed, but we strongly recommend using caution. Paint can get on personal items, and we are not responsible for damage to phones, watches, jewelry, or other belongings. Bringing a waterproof phone pouch is recommended if you want photos or videos.

Can we take pictures and videos?

Yes, photos and videos are encouraged as long as they are taken safely and do not interfere with the experience. The glowing paint and blacklight room make for great photo opportunities.

Is the paint safe?

The paint used for the experience is selected for this type of activity. Guests should still avoid getting paint in their eyes, mouth, or directly on the face. Goggles and staff instructions should be followed at all times.

What happens if paint gets in my eyes?

Guests are provided goggles and should keep them on during the experience. If paint gets in your eyes, notify staff immediately so they can assist you.

Should I remove jewelry or watches?

Yes. We recommend removing watches, jewelry, and any personal items you do not want exposed to paint.

Do you provide lockers or storage?

Please check with staff when you arrive. We recommend leaving unnecessary personal items outside the Splatter Zone whenever possible.

Can we bring our own paint?

No. Outside paint is not allowed. Only approved paint provided by Splatter Zone may be used during the experience.

Can we bring our own canvas?

Outside canvases are not allowed.

Can I book for a group or private party?

Yes. Splatter Zone is perfect for groups and private events. Larger groups should book in advance to make sure enough space, time, and materials are available.

Do I need a reservation?

Reservations are strongly recommended. Walk-ins may be accepted depending on availability, but booking ahead is the best way to secure your preferred time.

What time should we arrive?

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled time so you can check in, get ready, and receive instructions before entering the Splatter Zone.

What if I am late?

Late arrivals may reduce your session time depending on the schedule for the day. Please arrive on time so you can enjoy the full experience.

Can I cancel or reschedule?

Is food or drink allowed inside?

Food and drinks are not allowed inside the Splatter Zone paint room.

Is Splatter Zone good for team-building?

Yes. Splatter Zone is a fun, low-pressure team-building activity that gives groups a chance to laugh, be creative, and do something different together.
